Appiah Forson, a midfielder for West Ham United who was born in the UK to Ghanaian parents, has proclaimed his willingness to wear the Black Stars’ colors when the chance arises.
Forson, now 21 years old, made his senior debut for West Ham United in 2021 against Dynamo Zagreb in a UEFA Europa League match after unsuccessful trials with Tottenham and Charlton Athletic. Forson joined the Hammers when he was just 14 years old.
Appiah Forson claims that although there have been discussions regarding his ambitions to represent Ghana, nothing definitive has come to light. He adds that he is patiently waiting for the appropriate moment.
“My parents and I have discussed playing for Ghana. I have actually instructed on this, and I have consistently declared that if Ghana calls, I will always accept it. because my parents are from here. , “I want to give back to them and show them what I’m capable of. He told Saddick Adams TV
Regarding his favorite Ghanaian player, Forson said: “I really admire Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan, and adding that Ajax talisman Kudus Mohammed is a great player who will be a great addition to West Ham United after the London-based team showed interest in securing the services of the former Right to Dream Academy,” he added.
With almost 70 appearances last season, Appiah Forson is one of the highly regarded athletes who has played the most for the U18 and U21 teams.
