Morocco Officially to host the 2025 AFCON
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has announced that Morocco will host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.And a joint East African CO-HOST Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania the 2027 competition

Morocco were awarded the 2025 hosting right of the Africa Cup of Nations competition on Wednesday, replacing the original right Holder, Guinea who were stripped of the right last year, And the 2027 rights has been handed to a co-bid from Eastern Africa Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
Other contenders for 2025 were Zambia and a joint Nigeria-Benin bid. But they consented to leave in order to let Morocco demonstrate its merits in the hopes that it will boost the likelihood of Africa hosting the World Cup.
Almost 40 years after the last time, in 1988, Morocco will again host Africa’s most prestigious athletic event.
