How To Restore Iphone
To restore your iPhone, follow these steps:
- Backup your iPhone: Connect your iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes or Finder. Click on “Back Up Now” to create a backup of your iPhone.
- Disable Find My iPhone: Go to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone, and toggle it off.
- Connect your iPhone to your computer: Use the USB cable to connect your iPhone to your computer.
- Launch iTunes or Finder: If you’re using a Mac running macOS Catalina or later, open Finder. If you’re using a Mac running macOS Mojave or earlier or a Windows PC, open iTunes.
- Select your iPhone: Click on your iPhone’s icon in iTunes or Finder.
- Click on Restore iPhone: Click on “Restore iPhone” in the Summary tab.
- Confirm: A window will appear asking if you want to restore your iPhone to its factory settings. Click on “Restore” to confirm.
- Wait for the process to complete: Your iPhone will be restored to its factory settings, which means all data and settings will be erased. Wait for the process to complete.
- Set up your iPhone: Once the process is complete, your iPhone will restart. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your iPhone.

Note: If your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo, won’t turn on, or won’t respond, you can try putting it in recovery mode and restoring it. To put your iPhone in recovery mode, follow these steps:
- Connect your iPhone to your computer.
- Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time.
- Keep holding the buttons until you see the recovery mode screen.
- Click on Restore iPhone in iTunes or Finder.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your iPhone.
