Hidetaka Miyazaki was selected one of the top 100 individuals in the “Innovator” category in Time Magazine’s annual list of the world’s most influential people.
The list honors those who have had a significant impact on the world. Miyazaki collaborated with author George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones) to build the setting for the Elden Ring game, and has directed several video games for FromSoftware, including Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Dark Souls III, Déraciné, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Elden Ring was released in February 2022 by FromSoftware for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
