Eminem supported his longtime friend and fellow entertainer 50 Cent on stage at Pine Knob Music Theatre on Sunday night to put on an outstanding performance in his native Detroit.
The Detroit superstar made a stunning debut about 30 minutes into 50 Cent’s concert, to the thunderous roar of the more than 15,000 attendees.
The 50 Cent Final Lap tour, which began in July to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough album Get Rich or Die Tryin, made a significant stop at this event.
The crowd’s excitement grew when 50 Cent sang the opening few lines of Eminem’s 2003 song Patiently Waiting, knowing that he would hit the stage at that time.

As expected, the All She Wrote hitmaker took the stage wearing his signature hoodie, sending Pine Knob into a frenzy as he began to deliver his lines.
Following this exciting performance, the duo thrilled the crowd with Crack a Bottle, Eminem’s chart-topping blockbuster featuring 50 Cent as a featured guest.
This is Eminem’s second recent surprise appearance on stage, following his unannounced duet with Ed Sheeran at Ford Field in July. Even though the presence on Sunday was not officially announced, it was not wholly unexpected.
Given the circumstances—possibly 50 Cent’s farewell performance in Eminem’s hometown—the Detroit rapper’s absence would have been even more surprising.
The sight of Eminem’s daughter, Hailie, entering the venue earlier in the evening added to the intensity of the event.
